The districts have sent the report to the Education Department by clearing the roster of 70 thousand posts of subject-wise and postwise posts of central, secondary, and higher secondary teachers. The department will soon send the Superintendent for appointment to these posts to the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). Teachers are to be appointed in the next phase for 31,982 of the middle, 18,880 in secondary, and 18,830 in Higher Secondary. At the same time, the department has also decided the pay scale of these teachers, whose order has also been issued.
According to the information, the total salary of middle school teachers will be 49,050, from which pension, etc. will be deducted and 45,130 in hand. Similarly, the total salary of secondary teachers will get 53,970 and 49,630 in hand and higher secondary teachers will get 55,610 rupees and Rs 51,130 every month. The basic salary (basic) of these teachers will be 28 thousand, 31 thousand, and 32 thousand respectively. In addition to a 42 percent dearness allowance, HRA, etc. will be given.
They will be appointed on the basis of Bihar State School Teacher (Appointment, Transfer, Disciplinary Action and Service) Rules, 2023. Meetings of the department and BPSC officials have also been held for this appointment. After receiving the plea, BPSC will soon start preparing to issue advertisements.
