BPSC Bihar Teacher Result: The fate of lakhs of candidates of 1.70 lakh Bihar teacher recruitment examination of BPSC can be decided today. Bihar Public Service Commission can release the result of the 1.70 lakh teacher recruitment examination today for the candidates appearing for the higher secondary level teacher recruitment. The work of preparing the results continued till late Monday night. All selected candidates will be given direct district allotment. Once the results are declared, candidates will be able to check them by visiting www.bpsc.bih.nic.in. More than 8 lakh candidates had applied for 1,70,461 posts in Bihar BPSC Teacher Recruitment. The total posts include 79,943 posts for Primary Teachers (Classes 1 to 5), 32,916 posts for TGT Teachers (Classes 9-10), and 57,602 posts for PGT Teachers (Class 11-12). That means, today there is a strong possibility of getting the result for 57,602 posts of PGT teachers of class 11 and 12th.
Bihar Public Service Commission has released the final answer key of the Bihar Teacher Recruitment Examination. With its help candidates can calculate their marks. Candidates will be given one mark for each correct answer and there will be no negative marking.
Answers to many questions changed in the teacher recruitment exam
The answer key for Secondary and Higher Secondary as well as the GS paper has been released by the Commission. Changes have been made in the answers of some subjects in the final answer key. At the same time, questions in some subjects have also been removed. Most of the answers to 16 questions in Accountancy in Higher Secondary have been changed. At the same time, the answers to six questions in Computer Science have changed. Whereas one question (84 marks of Group A, 104 marks of Group B, 54 marks of Group C, and 74 marks of Group D) has been removed. At the same time, in Chemistry, the answers of two have been changed and one question (120 marks of Group A, 60 marks of Group B, 80 marks of Group C, and 100 marks of Group D) has been removed. With this, the answer to three questions each in Business Study, Botany, two in Hindi, and one question each in Mathematics and Physics has been changed.
Passing marks
- General category candidates will have to obtain 40 percent marks to pass the examination.
- Backward class candidates will have to obtain 36.5 percent marks, whereas
- SC and ST candidates will have to score 34 percent marks to pass the exam.
- Women and handicapped (Divyang) candidates will have to obtain 32 percent marks.
The BPSC Teacher Exam was conducted on 24, 25, and 26 August.
