Delhi Police Recruitment News: Big news has come out among the youth who want government jobs in Delhi Police. In fact, in a statement issued by Raj Niwas on Tuesday, it has been said that at least 13,013 vacant posts of Head Constable and Constable in Delhi Police will be filled by July 2024. Out of these 13,013 posts, the recruitment process for 3,521 posts is in the final stage. It is expected to be filled after the process is completed by December 2023.
According to the news agency PTI, written examination, PE MT i.e. physical endurance and measurement test, and typing speed test have been conducted for these posts. Rajnivasi said in the statement that these posts are to be filled in a phased manner between December 2023 and July 2024. The posts to be filled include 1,692 head constables and 1,411 constables (drivers).

Apart from this, at least 418 technical posts of Photographer, Draftsman, Store Clerk, Fitter, and various ranks including Mast Lasker, MT Helper, MT Storeman, Statistician, Assistant, and Radio Technician are also being filled. 840 posts of multi-tasking staff will also be filled. It is also mentioned here that 11,214 vacancies created by SSC are in various stages of filling and 1,799 vacancies will be advertised soon.
Complete the recruitment process within the stipulated time
Let us tell you that at the beginning of the year 2023, a parliamentary panel found that 13,525 posts were lying vacant in Delhi Police. Then the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Home Affairs said that the recruitment process is going on for 3,861 vacant posts. The committee had asked to complete the appointment process within a stipulated time limit. On the basis of the report of the parliamentary committee, the work of filling these posts is going on within the stipulated time.
