The recruitment process for junior rank in Delhi Police will be expedited. According to Rajnivas, more than 13 thousand posts will be filled by July next year. This recruitment process has gained momentum after the continuous efforts made by Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena.

According to Rajniwas, out of these, the recruitment process for 3521 posts will be completed by the month of December this year. Whereas, the recruitment process for a total of 13,013 posts will be completed by the month of July next year.

Since assuming office, Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has been holding frequent meetings to fill the vacant posts. Its positive results are emerging. He has given instructions to fill the vacant posts and also select women candidates in sufficient quantity.

According to Rajniwas, there are 559 male and 276 female posts of head constable. There are 1411 male posts of constable drivers. There are 573 male and 284 female posts of Head Constable (AWO-TPO). Apart from this, 418 technical posts are of Photographer, Draftsman, Store Clerk, Fitter, Mast Lasker, MT Helper, MT Storeroom, Statistician, Assistant, Radio Technician, Workshop Hand, etc.

This will be the recruitment process

For recruitment to the vacant posts, candidates will have to appear in written examination, PE and MT, and typing test. Recruitment for all posts will be filled from December this year to July 2024. In this, there will be recruitment on about 3521 posts till December. The schedule for recruitment to the remaining posts will be released as they are to be filled respectively.
