Delhi Police Bumper Vacancy 2023: There is good news for the candidates seeking jobs in Delhi Police. The bumper vacancy is going to come out in Delhi Police. According to a statement issued by Raj Niwas, at least 13,013 vacancies of head constables and constables in Delhi Police will be filled by July 2024. Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has given permission for 13,013 recruitments in Delhi Police by July 2024. The statement said that out of these 13,013 posts, 3,521 posts are in the final stage of recruitment and are expected to be filled by December this year. For this, written examination, PE MT (Physical Endurance and Measurement Test), and typing test have been conducted. These recruitments will be done between December 2023 and July 2024. The posts to be filled include 1,692 head constables and 1,411 constables (drivers).

Apart from this, at least 418 posts of Photographer, Draftsman, Store Clerk, Fitter, Mast Lasker, MT Helper, MT Storeman, Statistician, Assistant, and Radio Technician are also being filled in various ranks. According to the statement, 840 posts of multi-tasking staff are also being filled.

The statement by Raj Niwas also said that out of the recruitments being done by SSC, 11,214 are in various stages of filling and 1,799 vacancies will be advertised soon. Earlier this year, a parliamentary panel had found that 13,525 posts were vacant in Delhi Police. Then the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Home Affairs said that the recruitment process is going on for 3,861 vacant posts. The committee had asked to complete the appointment process within a stipulated time limit.
