Recruitment to the posts of Agricultural Service was earlier done with the Combined State Senior Subordinate Service (PCS).
There will be recruitment for 175 posts in the State Agricultural Service. Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has received the requisition for these posts. Recruitment to the posts of Agricultural Service was earlier done with the Combined State Senior Subordinate Service (PCS). In 2020, by separating it from PCS, recruitment for 564 posts came for the first time. Then only 461 posts could be filled. Due to the non-availability of eligible candidates for the vacant posts, 103 posts remained vacant. These posts will also be included in the new advertisement.
Amendments being made to the curriculum
Commission officials said that work is going on to issue advertisements for recruitment to the posts of Agricultural Services. The qualifications for these posts vary. Its curriculum is being amended. Its advertisement will be released in the next few months.
Similarly, work is going on for the recruitment of Assistant Engineers. The Commission has received its requisition. Some amendments are also to be made to the syllabus of this recruitment examination. After that, the advertisement will be issued.
